Today Herschelle Gibbs of S Africa hit six sixes off one over and wins US$ ONE MILLION for a charity of his choice. This is a first in the history of the cricket World Cup.

Great stuff!!

AND:

S African, Mark Boucher, has hit the fastest 50 in the history of the World Cup.

AND:

S Africa have hit the most sixes (18) in a match in all ODI history (and this match shortened to only 40 overs due to a wet pitch)

Playing against the blind school?

What did I say?!

Not even a decent training run!

221 run victory.

Shaun Pollock remains one of the top allrounders.

Plenty of cricket coming up over the weekend, but no real challenges until Wednesday.

It appears as if they think that they can keep it all for the final. But, they're not going to get there at this rate.

However, it was a good toss to win yesterday.

Auzzee

Such a shame that SA will not meet Oz in the FINAL - they will have to take Oz out in the SEMI.

He! He!

Two teams are capable of such turnarounds...The poms, but they are gone thank you....and the proteas. I don't think anyone will be surprised if the Boks get up.
