Hi, I'm somewhat new to sailing - recently having bought my first sailing dinghy, I am now figuring out that the rudder and center board are from an Sunfish and would explain why I had very little control while moving at slow speeds - however.... who doesn't love sailing anyway, even with the wrong equip?
Btw, it's an Ensign (old, from Rye, NY - Not an AU plastic boat) 9.5' fiberglass loose footed dinghy, and if anyone has any idea where i might find patterns for the original rudder and center board - that would be so cool, i'm not sure i'd know how to thank you!
