Hi, just becomed a member of this great forum, I'd like to thank you all for the opportunity to share our cruising experience.

I am 49, airline pilot from almost 28 years, have been actively sailing for nearly all my life.

I was born in Venice, thus I learned to conduct boats before riding bicycles.

I lived on board my first yacht for three full years, and had been sailing the Med for nearly 15 years.

I recently purchased my current boat in the East Coast of the US.

ZARA is a S&S NAUTICAT 521.

The masterplan is to sail her back to Europe next spring.

A special thanks to the moderator who has followed me through and helped me entering my first post.

Ciao

Rob.
