Introducing Kaya Margarite
My wife Donna and I retired in 2014 from our land jobs in Jo'burg South Africa. We had done some cruising in the seventies and eighties, and wanted to experience the cruising life again. We were unable to find a suitable boat in SA, and finally purchased a ketch in Annapolis USA in 2014, and named her Kaya Margarite - home of the pearl.
We sailed with our sons Daniel and Josh down the East Coast, and thereafter the western Caribbean to Panama. We are presently in Boca Chica Panama and will sail up to Mexico in the next year so as to be closer to our sons, who are studying in California. We look forward to being members on this forum, where I have already gleaned valuable information.
