cruising or buying a catamaran

Hello, we are a group of guys, mainly myself, in the market to buy a catamaran. Because all prices vary so much we thought we give it a try here for someone who urgently needs to sell something nice. We also do have a little budget problem.
Our dreamboat should not be older than 10 years. It can be a charterboat, if the price difference to a privatly owned modell is drastically. Overall the price must be A1.

The location is at this time not so important.

We also heard of bank and repo auctions spec. in the US. Can anybody tell us something about this or has a website for us?

Any other idea to get me onto the water is greatly appreciated.
