Hello all,
I am planning my passage from South Africa to the Canary Islands and I am wondering about the Western Sahara, administered by Morocco. I cannot find anything about this region on the noonsite and I have not found any information (yet) on the internet about cruising here. Based on my charts, there should be some good possibilities for stop-overs when making the passage from the Cape Verdes towards the Canaries (mainly up-wind) and I would like to consider stopping in Dakhla for example. Is this a safe area and is it possible/allowed to do any clearance here? Is there anyone with experience in this region?
