I need to replace the forward hatch on my Catalina 34. I've removed the existing hatch after a long and fairly difficult process. One spot along the edge damaged a small area of the fiberglass, as shown in the zoomed-in picture attached. Should I repair this before bedding and installing the new hatch? Any advice on a simple yet effective way to do so?

Thanks

Hi Jackson,

Fairly easy to repair this minor damage -- suggest get a small repair kit from Marinetex - here's their website C L I C K

You will need a small putty knife to apply the epoxy putty.

Ace Hardware stock Marinetex in small packs - here is url for the nearest near you : H E R E

Good Luck

Richard
