South East Asia to Australia May/June 2013
Hi!
My name is Chris and I am a 27 year old Australian/UK man; I live with my 25 year old Australian partner Megan. We are currently trying to journey from London to Sydney without taking any flights at all, and we are looking for a possible way to travel from South East Asia to Australia via boat.
I am a fine dining corporate event catering chef with 7 years experience working in some of the top catering companies in Sydney and London. I also have some experience cooking on yachts. Megan is a Primary School Teacher, she has a Master of Teaching and has had quite a few years working with younger children. We are both healthy and able bodied, and willing to work hard. Neither of us have any sailing experience, but we are fast and willing learners.
We are going to be in South East Asia during late May and June. We are happy to adjust our journey to different ports of departure, and are very flexible with time and location. We will work our guts out just for a spot on board. Ideally we would love to arrive in Australia at Cairns, however we are not closed to other options of arrival ports.
Would love to hear from anyone who might be able to help us complete our epic journey.
