Looking to crew from east coast to Europe or Africa

Hi there, My name is Jon Hamlin. I am mid 30's, fit and seeking to get more ocean experience in before I get my own boat. Ideally I'd like to crew from the east coast across the Atlantic to Europe or Africa or ? I'm pretty open, just want to explore, experience and learn. I have no ties at this point. I am recording my adventures and the stories of people I meet along the way for an ongoing web series and or eventual documentary.

I have sailing experience but predominantly on lakes. Though I have spent a lot of time on the ocean, it has not been spent sailing boats. Mostly out fishing, diving and cruising on motor boats. I have experience in the galley and on deck. I'm easy going, non smoker, quick study and work or play hard as the situation calls for. I am a doc and corp filmmaker for money. I also do web and online promo work and write as well as produce videos for my travel blog. I play guitar and sing as well. You can check out my site at tantrictraveler dot com.
