Default Position update

Hello everyone,
Just to let all know that we Alan and Lesley are boat less at the moment. We are busy looking for another boat but over on the east coast of USA. This will save us the hassle of going through the Panama Canal before we continue on our journey around the world. In the meantime we are busy doing a season of wheat harvest here in the USA at the moment.
It is interesting being on land and constantly moving around. For anyone following our adventures I enjoyed my 9 months down in Ensenada with our three animals while Alan returned to Australia for work. Both our Siamese cats (from Australia) are doing well as is our latest addition a lovely black Labrador called Matilda who is now two and a half years old. Almost time to get her mated before we have her spade.

Hi there. When looking for a new boat on the west coast, don't forget to look in Mexico. San Carlos, Puerto Vallarta have quite a lot of relatively cheap boats from Canada and the US which are just a little unloved. Cost of hard standing is low and services are quite good when readying a boat for a run across the Pacific.

Hi Auzzie,
We are looking for a yacht on the EAST Coast of the USA. We sailed the mighty Pacific from bottom to top, Australia to Canada via Hawaii. We are now looking to continue on to the Med and Europe. Yes around the world the other way.
