Seeking ALMITRA and Gary & Lisa
I post this every once in a while, hoping that I'll pick up the trail of two good friends who we lost track of as they sailed into the Phillipines.
ALMITRA is/was a Vancouver 25 sloop (originally with a blue hull) and homeported in either Annapolis, MD or perhaps Houston, TX...or perhaps elsewhere in the DC area. They originally sailed out and back to Bermuda, then eventually the Caribbean, thru the Canal and out into the Pacific, stopping to work for several years in the U.S. Trust Territories. (Think about that: all in a 25' boat. Yikes!) With the kitty replenished, they sailed to the Phillipines in 1996.
If anyone's bumped into ALMITRA or perhaps Gary & Lisa, it would be helpful to know at least where they were, when. We'd love to reconnect.
