Default Bottom paint for aluminium hull

Any cruisers aware of where in south east asia it is possible to purchase anti fouling bottom paint for an aluminium hull and have it shipped to Kudat, Malaysia? Or,could one buy 20 liters of it in Kudat area?

Many thanks

Do you know the manufacturer of the paint? The brand name, etc.? If so, contact Jessie Lee at Marine Tech in Singapore: marintech@pacific.net.sg <marintech@pacific.net.sg>

Or go to the Singapore Green Book Industrial directory, where you can find mfrs. reps for just about any product. http://www.thegreenbook.com/

BJ, for an aluminium hull only tin-bases antifouling is safe. But that's banned worldwide, even for commercial vessels.

But, in Penang there is a little shop selling TBT per litre: you just have to mix it with hard or regular self-polishing antifouling. He's known as "the poison man" and has a shop in centre of town, chinatown. All locals know him.

Suc6,

Jan
