Hawaii to American Samoa
Aloha,
I'm looking for someone who might need an extra deckhand on a trip from Hawaii to American Samoa (or Samoa).
I currently live in Hawaii and don't have any specific time when I would need to get to American Samoa, but sometime in late Winter/early Spring would be preferable (February/March/April). Of course, the problem here is that just as the cyclone season is ending for the Southern hemisphere, it is just beginning for the Northern hemisphere, so obviously timing of the passage is critical. (But I am assuming that this is a typical time for making this trip.)
I have some experience on sailboats and am entirely comfortable on open ocean waters. I am also a good cook, have some first aid, life saving, and fishing skills.
In addition, I also used to live in American Samoa/Samoa so would be able to teach you some things that you might find useful in helping you "navigate" your away around those countries if you were going there for a visit.
So if you're heading from Hawaii to American Samoa (or Samoa) in the next few months, whether just passing through Hawaii on your way there (or someplace else) or leaving from Hawaii, feel free to contact me and we can take it from there.
Mahalo!
