How much should crewing on a sail boat from North America to the South Pacific roughly cost per month? I am new to this and am looking for a sailing adventure, and I just want to know if anyone can give me some feedback on how much I am looking to spend per month.

A difficult question which will depend on so many variables. Are you wanting to crew on someone else's boat or taking your own. How large the motor is will effect amount of fuel required should you have to motor. If your own, how big is it and what state of repair? Can you do repairs yourself or will you depend on others. What standard of living do you require? Will you use marinas at every option or prefer to hang off the pick?

There are a couple of very good books on budget cruising if you are inclined that way and there are those on this forum who have much greater cruising experience than me but you need to give them some info to work with.
