What with the cyclone (Yasi) forming near Figi I'm sure we would all like to know that Ken & _ _ & SV Trim are all safe & well & tucked in tight. Ken if you read this, I've spoken to Kirk & Cath (SV Gallivanters) on the 'telling-bone' & they are having a ball in Sydney, NSW, Australia. Do let us know how y'all are going. 'standing by on 16' , eh. Ciao, james

G'day Richard. Yes I do remember Ken saying that he & Lori were going to NZ. Just wondered if SV Trim was & is O.K. Sure hope so. I tend to agree with Peter - Danblu - There sure appears to be a plethora of cyclones & severe weather around whether we like it or not. Sure hope Mike Rogers listens to all that has been said and proceeds with much caution & doesn't become a statistic & more to the point risk others lives trying to rescue people that put themselves into dangerous areas unnecessarily. Life tends to be amply adventurous enough with intentionally jumping in at the deep-end without proper preparation, me thinks. 'Bianca' is tracking ESE, dropped to Cat 1 & expected across Perth, WA sometime after 1700 hrs Western Australian time. Cyclone 'Bianca' has just been down-graded substantially, as of 0930 Australian Eastern Standard Time. 'Anthony' tracking SW, 600 k off-shore @ 90 kph - increased to Cat 2 & expected across Townsville, North Qld area sometime after 1900 hrs Eastern Australian Standard time. I'm sure all our best wishes go out to everyone especially all our fellow yachties. Thanks for our regular up-dates, Richard, sincerely appreciated. Ciao, james

Yep...we are doing just fine here in Rotorua, New Zealand and I talked to our friends on S/V Skylight in Vuda Point who said all is well there. Trim is sitting in a cyclone trench waiting for us to return in April.
