For the second time this year, I have had to cancel my Chase Visa card due to fraudulent internet charges which come in a flurry. They are strange charges for only a couple of dollars from multiple company names. Chase says they are computer programs hunting for valid account numbers. When Chase sees these charges, they automatically place a hold on your account and deny any additional charges after it occurs.
This has become a real pain in my but since Iím doing a lot of purchasing of parts for the boat. It is especially embarrassing when your engine part supplier calls you and tells you that your credit card was denied and you have to call your sail maker and give him a different card number.
Has anyone else experience this type of thing with their credit cards?
