Default hello all

Hi,

I'm Jay Randle, new to Cruiser Log this morning. My wife Reem and I live and work in Sharjah (the city none has ever heard of, next door to Dubai) in the UAE. We arrived here in August 1998 and will be heading back to our home in Concord, NC in January of 2013.

Plan to spend a LOT of time aboard our 1976 S-J Morgan 45-1 "Little Wing" gaining sailing experience with this lovely older boat we've been restoring since we purchased her in November 2008.

Look forward to visit with other members frequently...

Jay

Welcome Jay... that is a long way from home. I was once stationned in Jacksonville, not too far from your home port.

Gooday to you both - Jay & Reem. Enjoy your yachting - time- travelling & welcome to 'our-mob'. Tell us of your story of restoring your Morgan 45-1. Tell us a lot about the boat itself & why you chose it. Big story would be great as we can & will all of us - learn a lot from sharing your adventures. Great bunch of fab people in here & they've got endless knowledge that you can tap into - so please - take the time to tell us your story.

Good fortune with your plans, fair winds - scads of fun & a few 'sundowners'. Ciao, james - (ex-pat Canuck from OZ, sailor, fossile.

I just ran across the picture of SV Little Wing and wondered--did you retire this January as planned? Where are you?

Fair winds,
Brenda
