I thought the above was descriptive enough for an introduction, but never shying away from opening my mouth...let's see...... MY philosophy for cruising and maybe weekend gunkholing is not to cover the same country more than 2 times at the same time of year. I prefer the thrill of the coast to the open sea, ducking into the shade or tying onto kelp or logs when possible. Engines are ok but sailing and rowing develop skills friendlier and more in tune with the currents, sun and stars.
