Hello all,

Just found this forum while seasrching for a used Pactor modem after getting outbid for one on EBay. Looks like a pretty good site.

We (me: Steve & my wife: Lulu) are coming down to the last few months before our long-dreamed-of cruising life. I retire at the end of this month at which time I can devote almost all of my time to getting the boat ready to go. We plan on heading out with the Baja Ha Ha XVI this fall after a slow sailing trip down the US west coast from our current home port of Newport Oregon.

Our boat (s/v Siempre Sabado) is a 1977 Westsail 28 (hull #20 for all you Westsailors out there). Looking forward to perusing this site and finding out what I've been missing all this time.

-Steve

Welcome aboard Steve and Lulu. Good to have the both of you with us.

Just pull up a pew and join in the banter Tell a few tales of your own too: good yarns are always rewarded with a tankard or two of foaming ale.

Also, best wishes on your forthcoming retirement and voyaging.

Aye,

Stephen
