Hey everybody,
My name is Anthony Schwartz and I am a 25 year old Biomedical engineer. For the past two and a half years I have been traveling solo from Mexico, Central, and South America. Then flew from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Capetown, South Africa where I purchased a motorcycle (without ever having ridden one) and rode north into Uganda through 25,000 km (mostly dirt roads) and am on my way back down now into Capetown.
I am currently in Lusaka and will be in Capetown in 2 or 3 weeks. I am looking to hop on a boat from Capetown headed towards South America and anything between there and Miami etc that is leaving anytime within the next few months!
I've sailed a total of 20 days probably as a tourist/informal deckhand, but i'm a very quick learner. I'm an engineer and am quite handy with fixing just about anything including engines/drive shafts/electronics. I'm very easy going and incredibly enthusiastic to learn just about everything I can.
If there is anybody planning to do this route pleace contact me via
schwartz.anthony@gmail.com, and I will get back to you as soon as possible! I'll be able to reply as I get internet.
I have a US as well as EU (Netherlands) passport and can get STCW certification as well if needed. I am also fluent in Spanish as well as English.
Thanks!
Anthony Schwartz
