I thought that the guidelines that they provided are pretty good, and the links to various providers in the US also quite good. I think it is a valuable resource - finding yacht insurance is sometimes a difficult job.
This looks to be a fairly new web site, and I hope they remain around, they are offering some good resources for cruisers.
Regarding their links for marine insurers, we used International Marine Insurance Services (IMIS) when we insured our new power catamaran, and have been very pleased with the company's service as well as their understanding of people who do not live in the US very much. When we were considering insurance companies, IMIS emailed us a copy of the policy to review before we chose them. We've not had any claims (as it should be!
), so I have no experience with their claims handling, but they came highly recommended to us.
