Not sure if I should have placed this in crew wanted - as I need a bit more than that!

I need to find a person, team or firm to deliver our 46 foot sloop from Antigua to Ft Lauderdale departing first week May with an ETA around mid June. Sadly I've not the time to take her myself.

Has anyone else out there used a local delivery skipper, and prepared to recommend them?

Obviously it is a paid role - so I expect professionals only please.

JOHN

John, I think that "JeanneP" knows one or two. She is currently moving around the Bahamas so her logins here could be sporadic.

Good luck.

Our friend, "Aussie John" is a delivery skipper. He's based in St. Martin. Two options, go to www.atlasdeliveries.com or email him at john AT atlasdeliveries.com

Ten days ago he was 800 miles out from the Azores on a delivery with engine problems and slow going due to weather, so can't say if he's made landfall yet, though I figure maybe not since he is usually very good about communicating. He was on line last night, so he might be there (since he didn't talk to me he might have just been on to send a burst of email, though). However, there are other skippers available, his partner, Sean, perhaps. We've met quite a few of the skippers and they're a good lot.

I have another email address for John, but will PM you if the above contacts don't work. PM me your email address and I'll email him as well on the other addy to let him know you're looking for someone, if you'd like.
