All,
I am a new member and when I put my link to our external cruising blog the link from this site will not work. I also cannot get the blog preference page to come up so that I can try and change my settings. Am I the only one to experience this? Any ideas?
Thanks,
sailPDQ36

All,
After some experimenting, I was able to get the blog settings page to finally display. FWIW, the error only manifests itself in Firefox, not IE from Microsoft. Thanks.

Hi
Your external blog goes to http://www.tendervittles.net/ - I get a blank, grey page there.

It does start with a grey page whilst loading. It did take a little while to load though despite me being on a fast conection at the moment.

The little loading "widget" does not come up on my IE - It does however load on Firefox.

This USUALLY means that the file size is too big (over the upload limit). Are they large files?
Or, the file type (.extension) is not allowed for security reasons.
Can you give more details?

Hi Robin
Please clarify.
"Here" as opposed to the Wiki? (although linked, the wiki is different software & many different settings)
Or, has it come right now on a different PC?

Just noticed that the above image is hot-linked (loading from a 3rd party server - illegal BTW).
The Wiki requires images to be uploaded from your PC TO THE WIKI server first - then posted to a page. Have a look at the Wiki "help" files.
Hope we're getting somewhere now?

Would if i could .... if it is illegal then Wiki should return error and not follow the link !!
Will have to load all images from a third party pc, as mine is too well protected, a deliberate policy of mine.

I am not hot-linking images, I am linking to web pages that display these images, subtle difference, but substantive.
This can't be illegal as full credit is going to web page, please clarify.
But Wiki says
Photo must be remotely hosted (i.e www.photobucket.com or similar) or in the CruiserLog "Gallery"., this is at variance with your statement above ?
