Hi,

Jean-Pol Dheedene (70) with his blue 44f metal ketch Walk About I (Belgian registration) left La Graciosa Canary Islands at 8 august heading to Cabo Verde, Senegal later to Gambia. From then no news from him! Everybody who now something or saw Jean Pol Please contact me or MRCC Oostende the coordinate the search.

Here is more accurate info on the Walk AboutI:
presumably 1 person on board: Jean Pol Dheedene, 72

blue steel hull / 43 feet / schooner rig with white sails / Aft cockpit / wind vane and lift raft / Belgian flagged / communication: VHF

Left the port of La Graciosa (Canary Isles) in the morning of the 10th of august 2015.
Destination Cabo Verde, Dakar and then further to Gambia (Gambia river).
Foreseen arrival in Dakar around the 24th of august
Concerns because of the tropical cyclone Fred and arrival overdue.
